It offers fast laboratory-quality screening results on-site. This cutting-edge analyzer efficiently manages various testing tasks, such as:
Geology & Mining: Mining and geochemical operations require analytical tools to determine the composition of ores, concentrates, and tailings, often involving a wide range of elements and concentrations. The SPECTRO xSORT provides quick and accurate measurements across various sample types, even in challenging and remote locations.
Environmental: The SPECTRO xSORT is used in environmental applications to quickly screen soil, sediment, waste, and other materials for heavy metals and toxic elements, ensuring appropriate clearing or remediation.
Compliance: National and international legislation aims to reduce the health and environmental impacts of harmful substances in consumer goods and manufactured products. The SPECTRO xSORT is the ideal screening tool if substances contain any of the elements in the range Mg-U.
The SPECTRO xSORT handheld XRF has been redesigned to be more compact and better balanced than earlier models, making it ideal for extended, fatigue-free, one-handed use. Its ergonomic features include a light-squeeze trigger, a large 5” high-definition display with a wide viewing angle, and extra physical buttons suitable for gloved hands. This results in effortless, all-day comfort during operation. For convenience, the instrument can be equipped with a small portable sample chamber or can be mounted into its docking station. In both cases it can be operated from an external PC, optionally connected to the powerful XRF Analyzer Pro software for full data storage, further data handling and processing.
The device offers maximum analytical flexibility with factory methods, providing extensive coverage of elements and matrices. Users can seamlessly switch between samples without changing methods. Additionally, for uncommon elements or applications not pre-installed, experienced users can utilize the smart on-site calibration option via PC.
